Freelance Designer position with the Placer County Cold Case Foundation, a newly established nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping hope alive and supporting ongoing cold case investigations until answers are found for families. Using WordPress, I designed and built their website. Below are images from their home page.
This section is the top portion of the home page. The logo located in the upper left-hand corner was redesigned and updated by me to improve clarity, modernize the visual style, and ensure consistent branding across the website and other digital assets.
Here are three of the active cold cases currently featured on the website. I was responsible for formatting, and inserting the photographs, as well as organizing the written case summaries to ensure clarity and readability. Additionally, for the Hawkley case, I embedded a related video to provide visitors with deeper context and increase engagement with the story.
This section represents the middle portion of the page, where I developed content highlighting the Placer County Cold Case Foundation’s partnership with the Placer County Sheriff’s Office. The write-up clearly communicates the collaboration and reinforces credibility and trust with site visitors.
This section shows the bottom portion of the website, where I added a clear and easy-to-access contact link for visitors to reach the foundation directly. This placement helps ensure that anyone interested in learning more, providing information, or offering support has a direct and convenient way to connect with the organization.
